Celebrity looks at Milan Fashion Week

Monica Bellucci’s stunning look, Jennifer Lopez’s now-famous dress, stylish bloggers, and other easy-to-replicate looks.

During the past fashion week in Milan the guests looked forward to more than just models on catwalks and collection presentations, they were also curious about celebrity looks.

Monica Bellucci played to the love of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to the fatal Sicilian widow style and came over donning a white suit with a see-through chiffon blouse and an all-new hairdo: her stunning locks gave way to a short yet stylish bob.

Giorgio Armani rarely employs models who may distract the attention from the clothes to the catwalk. However, the front rows are usually occupied by Armani-loving celebrities. This year stylists pointed out Tina Kunakey’s appearance. The model straightened her hair and picked long trousers and a satin top. A simple yet effective look is recommended to be replicated on a date or a corporate party.

At MFW Jennifer Lopez replicated her stunning look from the year 2000 by picking a dress with a tropical print. Back then the dress was so striking to the fans the latter wound up crashing Google trying to get their hands on a similar dress. That, by the way, inspired the internet giant to launch Google Images. At Versace’s show the artist hit the catwalk wearing a flowy dress and just like 19 years ago she turned out to be one of the most talked about celebrities. Even a few days later café society is still talking about Donatella Versace’s choice and the 50 year old singer’s stunning shape.

However, the hottest look was presented not by J-Lo but by the blogger Chiara Ferragni. The young lady came to Alberta Ferretti’s show in a short navy chiffon dress. The look turned out very effective against grey marble walls while the windy weather did a slight disservice to the young lady. She might have thought about the dress fitting nicely before actually wearing it.

The hot early MFW days gave way to September cold, and the stars picked warmer looks. The it-girl Olivia Palermo showed how to make a stylish look using a conservative skirt, a classic white shirt, and a warm jumper.
