Cutlery, candle holders, and textile with legendary Toile de Jouy patterns are now available at 28 Avenue Montainge.
Last July Dior fashion house, part of LVMH group, opened their first interior lifestyle-oriented boutique. The space which earlier used to house Dior’s glasses has been fully dedicated to Maison collection. The branded interiors made since 1947 have caused a stir at the latest Milan Furniture Fair where Dior presented 14 items finished in gold, silver, bronze, and steel made in cooperation with DimoreStudio. The items are available for pre-ordering.
Dior employees recalled Christian Dior’s quote ‘living in a house that doesn’t look like its owner is like wearing someone else’s clothes’. From now on multiple bright accents that may render any living space unique and cosy are available at a single shop. The first ever permanent collection is in tune with both today’s trends and Dior’s timeless classics. Blankets, pillows, tablecloths, and other textile pieces contain the legendary Toile de Jouy pattern which for this season is offered in burgundy and blue. Shelves display glass fish and porcelain monkeys. The cutlery is decorated with iconic bees, Dior’s favourite flowers, wood lilies, and Dior Cannage mesh which reminisces Napoleon III chairs that were offered to the guests at the maitre’s first ever show.
