All proceeds from the sales of the model will be used for researching Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

On November 8 Geneva will host Only Watch charity auction, an important event in the world of watchmaking. Hublot has put up a unique sapphire watch made in cooperation with Richard Orlinski for biddings. Mr. Orlinski is one of the most famous modern French sculptors. The brand granted him complete creative freedom in designing external elements of the new model. According to Hublot officials the model titled Classic Fusion Tourbillon Sapphire Orlinski for Only Watch is the world’s first time-indicating artwork.
The watch has been made in a limited series of 200 copies. It is available in two finishes: titanium and sapphire with turquoise chrysolites. The body is made of sapphire while the sculpted shapes scream Orlinski’s iconic style. The white gold bezel is encrusted with 54 baguette cut chrysolites. However, the most striking detail of the watch is its transparent face which gives the owner a view to every little detail of the mechanism. The model is powered by hand-crafted hand-cranking skeletonized HUB6021 mechanism with a 115 hour-long power reserve. Each design is complemented by a special bracelet: a black one for the titanium finish, and a turquoise leather one for the sapphire body. The watch will be sold in a sapphire box designed like the one Orlinski’s Wild Kong holds above its head. New owners of Classic Fusion Tourbillon Sapphire Orlinski for Only Watch will be invited to a meet and greet with Richard Orlinski himself at his gallery in Paris.

Before landing at Only Watch the model will head out to a worldwide tour. The watch will be exhibited in Monaco, Dubai, Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taipei. All the proceeds from the sales will be donated to Monaco Association for Muscular Dystrophy Research to finance their Duchenne dystrophy.

Major brands often use their resources and creative potential for philanthropic initiatives. Beautiful Lifestyle has covered various instances where the fashion world donates to charity. For instance, Chopard adds models made for charity organizations to their collections , while other houses aid restoration of cultural heritage (https://beautifulmag-lifestyle.com/art/ljuksovye-brendy-spasajut-kulturnoe-nasledie/)..
