Массовые протесты, митинги и акции в Польше, возникшие в стране из-за принятия Конституционным судом Польши решения о запрете абортов в случае неизлечимой болезни плода, привели к тому, что польское правительство отложило принятие закона.

On Thursday, Poland’s equivalent to the Supreme Court ruled to outlaw abortions due to fetal defects, making the country’s ban on abortion almost total and sparking protests from pro-choice activists in Warsaw. As of now, Poland will only allow abortion in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the pregnant person’s life, making the country one of the most hostile places in Europe for reproductive rights. In response, protestors came out in droves in Warsaw to voice their dismay at the new ruling.
