The Oscars Award annually takes place in February. However, the organizers of the award decided to postpone the event from February to April 2021.
According to the L.A Times, the organizers made this decision because of the pandemic. During the quarantine, many movie studios suspended their work, thereby changing the schedule of film premieres.
The 93rd Academy Awards will take place on April 25th.
