The oldest member of the US Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, has died at the age of 87.
Ruth Ginsburg is widely regarded as an icon of style and contemporary feminism. She actively opposed gender discrimination, fought for the rights of minorities. Ruth became the second woman in US history to hold the post of a Supreme Court judge.
Two years ago, the biopic “On the Basis of Sex” was released, in which Ruth Ginsburg was played by Hollywood actress Felicity Jones.
