On the 2nd of March, Alexander McQueen presented its new fall collection during the Paris Fashion Week.
Alexander McQueen is frequently associated with épater and innovation. Though with Sarah Burton being a creative director of the brand, the collections tend to become more commercial and simpler.
The show has told a family story. Sarah Burton appeals to the English customs and traditions, embedding them in her new collection. The models wore elements of clothing with such patterns like plaid and geometric shapes. Sarah Burton also paid her respect to the heritage of Alexander McQueen. She presented outfits with interesting tailoring and brilliantly combined different textures. As for the color palette, the designer mostly used black, red, and silver.
The collection appeared to be divine and inspirational, even though it was without any mind-blowing elements.
