Villa des Oliviers, Cap d’Antibes (France), 15.05.2018 – Life is festive and respecting life means celebrating every moment! For its 16 th participation in the Cannes Film Festival, the Genevabased jeweller symbolically chose to celebrate its 25 th anniversary within the intimate setting of the Villa des Oliviers in Antibes. Fawaz Gruosi hosted 300 guests in the exclusive format of a dinner show.
“I come from a family where we celebrate life every day, whether through intense, sad or joyful moments; it’s a way of warding off bad luck and maintaining a positive outlook. Surrounding oneself with people who matter and who have shown in their trust in us for years is also a fine means of celebrating the path we have been travelling for 25 years and preparing to write the next chapters in our story in a manner that augurs well for the future.” Fawaz Gruosi
Be it by chance or fate, there is one particular symbol that has accompanied the Maison de GRISOGONO since its Cannes debut: the olive tree. Synonymous with the Mediterranean, it has also since Ancient times embodied strength, wisdom, loyalty, hope and abundance.
During the Festival, the Geneva jeweller has for many years welcomed celebrities and VIPs from around the world on the terrace of the Suite des Oliviers at the Martinez Hotel – thereby offering them a haven of peace in which to recharge their batteries and select their jewellery for the famous red-carpeted staircase ritual. For the first time this year, de GRISOGONO has chosen the Villa des Oliviers in Antibes for an exclusive party in a deliberately less formal and more intimate setting. The dinner show set the tone and the pace for the event. Throughout the evening, live performances kept guests swaying to the beat of DJ Marta Barros, a cabaret-style act by Nick & Kitty and the Cuban Brothers, followed by DJ Charles behind the decks and dancing by Mette Towley.
A party brimming with life and hope, a tribute… celebrating 25 years of creative audacity from de GRISOGONO.
Among the celebrities in attendance were Alessandra Ambrosio, Nicole Scherzinger, Winnie Harlow, Maria Borges, Cindy Bruna, Michelle Rodriguez, Natasha Poly, Toni Garrn, Chris Tucker, Mette Towley, …
