Yohji Yamamoto’s heroines at Paris Fashion Week seem to have stepped out of romanticist paintings.
Speaking to the press Yamamoto said, ‘I was born to be a poet’. His newest collection is full of romantic silhouettes, flowy fabrics, and tender flower prints on contrasting black backdrops. His models clad in modern fashionable women’s wear reminisce the looks of the age of romanticism.
