Disney’s head of streaming services Kevin Mayer will become the first CEO of TikTok. Kevin Mayer will also serve as a chief operating officer of the ByteDance company, TikTok’s parent company. Kevin Mayer will join ByteDance on June 1.
At the moment, the TikTok social network is one of the most popular in the whole world: more than 700 million people have registered on the social network, and the app has been downloaded more than 2 billion times.
