Google, in partnership with WWF Sweden, announced the launch of an online platform aimed at the development of sustainable fashion.
At the moment, the fashion industry is practically a leader in pollution and water consumption, and also emits from 2% to 8% of greenhouse gases. According to analysts, by 2030, the percentage of emissions may increase to 50%.
The platform, created by Google and WWF Sweden, combines all the known data on environmentally friendly fabrics and raw materials. It will allow brands and designers to create new collections while making more environmentally friendly decisions.
