Former Christie’s specialist Loic Gouzer launched an exclusive Fair Warning app last week that will target a narrow range of collectors. The creator of the app plans to auction one piece of art per week via the Fair Warning app.
Loic Gouzer reported that there was a purchase in the app of Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Untitled (1982) for $10.2 million. Collectors who were especially interested in buying the piece could see the work live before purchasing it.
