London authorities lit traditional Christmas lights on Oxford Street and Bond Street before going into the second lockdown.
This year’s festive lighting is dedicated to the heroes of 2020 – to people who selflessly helped others during the COVID-19 pandemic. On the official Oxford Street website, you can fill out a form to nominate the person. Afterward, his name will appear on the screen throughout the week.
