Streaming company Netflix will nominate Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman for a posthumous Academy Award for his role in Ma Rainey: Mother of the Blues.
The actor recently passed away from cancer at the age of 43. Chadwick became world-famous for his role in Black Panther in the Marvel films.
At the moment, in the entire history of the film awards, only two actors have received a posthumous Oscar. They are Heath Ledger for the role of Joker in the movie “The Dark Knight” and Peter Finch for the film “Network.”
