Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, along with his wife Elena, got infected with COVID-19. The athlete reported this in his Instagram account.
The cause of infection was the Adria Tour tennis tournament organized by the athlete. Despite the prescribed restrictions, the tennis players spoke to the audience and also spent time together at parties. As a result, Novak Djokovic became the fourth participant in the tournament, who got COVID-19.
The athlete regretted that the Adria Tour caused the spread of COVID-19, and announced the termination of the tournament, wishing everyone a speedy recovery.
