On July 12, the second stage of Formula 1 of the 2020 season and the first Grand Prix of Styria took place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Valtteri Bottas could no longer repeat the success of the first race and came to the finish line second, but retained the lead in the individual competition. The first to finish the Styrian Grand Prix was the reigning Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, which brought him his 85th career victory.
Further competition for the title of champion will continue in Hungary.
