US President Donald Trump has announced his intention to ban the TikTok social network in the United States. On August 7, Donald Trump issued orders to forbid any transactions between American companies and the Chinese company ByteDance, which owns TikTok.
However, TikTok officials said they were not going to leave the American market and planned to sue the US presidential administration. TikTok is also currently discussing with Microsoft and Twitter on purchasing the app by these companies to avoid the blocking of the social network.
