Natalia Vodianova dresses as an elf princess, Stella McCartney, Olivia Palermo, and other guests of the traditional ball night.
London hosted a charity night arranged by the Naked Hearts foundation headed by its creator, Natalia Vodianova. The theme chosen for the party was the Wonderland created by Lewis Carroll, as well as other fairy tales. The guests were greeted by the mesmerising world of surrealism, magic, and illusion. Accompanied by DJ Josh Ludlow, illusionists Catherine Mills Darcy Oake showed some fantastic tricks. The guests could enjoy exciting games brought by the partners of the event: playing dice with Dior, golfing with Fendi, check their aim with Louis Vuitton, and trying their luck at winning Stella McCartney’s golden lottery ticket.
The host chose the fashion look of an elf princess, with pointy ears and a crimson dress by Giambattista Valli topped by a magical necklace by Chopard.
At the end of the night, Alexander Gilkes hosted an auction. The participants could bid for private shopping by Berluti, a saddle-shaped bag by Dior and Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, artworks by Matt Collishaw, and brothers Jake and Dinos Chapman. The auction raised a total of £220,000 for the Naked Hearts foundation.
The event was visited by Olivia Palermo, Stella McCartney, Mert Alas, Caroline Daur, Johannes Huebl, Charlotte and Philip Colbert, Jeremy Irvine, Amber Anderson, Charlotte Wiggins, Sam Rollinson, Ed Westwick, Anastasia Belyak, Natasha Zinko, Sheherezade Goldsmith, and other guests.
Beautiful Lifestyle has covered other events hosted by the foundation. In February 2019 the theme of the London ball was Federico Fellini’s “Dolce Vita”, Switzerland hosted a gala dinner party at “The Secret Garden”, while the event in Doha was held at a venue filled with hundreds of little red hearts.
