Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Moscow museums will be closed until January 15, 2021, after the publication of the order of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova.
Also, according to the order of the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin, other cultural institutions, such as theaters, cinemas, and concert halls, are obliged to reduce the occupancy by 25%. For example, the Bolshoi Theater of Russia initially announced that it would stop selling tickets until January 15. Later the theater published that it would continue to hold performances, changing the seating of the audience.
