On June 24, Moscow hosted a festive fireworks display in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory Day. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government postponed the traditional parade of military equipment to June 24.
After the morning parade, there were festive fireworks at 23:00 Moscow time. Ten thousand salute shots were fired, and 30 volleys were fired from 18 artillery guns during the Great Patriotic War.
The fireworks lasted 15 minutes and ended with volleys that painted the night sky in the colors of the Russian flag.
