Johnnie Walker announced the development of more sustainable packaging. In 2021, the Scotch whiskey company plans to start using paper bottles made from recyclable, environmentally friendly cellulose.
Although most of Johnnie Walker’s products come in glass bottles, the company is concerned about carbon dioxide emissions from the packaging.
The development of new bottles is carried out in conjunction with Pulpex Limited, with which such large brands as Unilever and PepsiCo have also begun to cooperate.
