To avoid the increasing numbers of cases of COVID-19, many European countries at the beginning of the crisis closed their borders. Today the situation in Europe is starting to stabilize, but many states still do not lift the restrictions. The editors of the Beautiful Lifestyle magazine publishes a list of requirements to enter several European countries.
France
To enter the country, it is necessary to have a “good reason”, though remember that movement within France is also limited. To move around the country, even within the city, you also need to get permission.
Germany
To enter this country, you must provide “a good reason” to do it, though the final decision on whether to allow the entrance or not is made by the federal police.
Hungary
It is only possible to enter Hungary if a person is a legal Hungarian citizen or has a residence permit. However, the magazine would like to bring your attention to the fact that all arriving passengers must spend 14 days in mandatory quarantine.
Italy
You can enter Italy if you have “a good reason”, however, all arriving passengers must spend 14 days in quarantine. Please note that the railway communication in the country does not work at the moment, and it is only possible to enter the country by plane or by ship.
Romania
Those who arrive in Romania from a number of countries that are in the “red zone” (Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Iran, Great Britain, the USA, and Turkey) are required to spend time in quarantine in special institutions where their health will be monitored while arriving passengers from other countries can self-isolate at home.
Serbia
At the moment, it is not possible to enter Serbia even if you are a citizen of this country: only lorries have permission to enter the country.
Switzerland
Only citizens of Switzerland and Liechtenstein and cross-border passengers can enter the country. The federal police can sometimes make an exception but only in cases of emergency.
The United Kingdom
At the moment, the UK government has not imposed any restrictions on those who arrive in the country. However, the state is considering following the example of neighboring countries and introducing a 14-day quarantine rule for all immigrants.
